Are you a Woman with Diabetes? Do you ever wish you had the support and friendship of another woman with diabetes? DiabetesSisters Day of Action will provide the opportunity for women with diabetes to come together for a "meet and greet" to create unity and empowerment among women with diabetes. We will be able to share stories and information that will help to create a large scale change for women with diabetes. DiabetesSisters Day of Action will be held at McAlister's Deli at North Hills on Saturday, September 20, 2008. This event will take place from 11:30am until 2pm. Please be sure to register below for seating and giveaways for attendees. Attendees are asked to wear a "DiabetesSisters Pride" t-shirt (in yellow) to display the unity of the Sisterhood. These t-shirts will also be worn by the DiabetesSisters Team the following Saturday (Sept. 27th)in the ADA's Step Out Walk in Raleigh, NC as well as in event photos and press releases!
