Bring your energy, your passion, and all the friends you have and come to the IGNITE THE FIGHT FOR SERVICE RALLY. Come demonstrate that this, the NOW!, the present is a new age in American history. No longer are we going to stand on the sidelines while We, The People, have the opportunity, power, and will to change the world. Martin Luther King Jr. once said "Everyone can be great because everyone can serve." Here's your chance to stand up, shout out, and "Be The Change You Wish to See in the World." Come and join a movement that is spanning our entire nation, where communities everywhere are shouting "We deserve to Serve." Features of the Rally: Organizations fair - featuring 14 community organizations Slam Poetry - 5 slam poet presentations made by professional slam poets, and special young artist group from Life Pieces to Master Pieces Music - Come listen and have your soul stirred by our musical presenters. Inspirational Speakers: Come listen as leaders from the Service community come out to speak. Profound Testimonies: Come listen to amazing stories told from the very individuals who sacrificed and dedicated their time to battling local community problems. Candle Lighting Ceremony: Honor, respect, and rekindle the spark of service in your life as we pay tribute to some of the greatest individuals and organizations that have pioneered the path of service.
